Concrete Flatwork or Pavers
A permit is required for all flat work, including but not limited to driveways, patios, sidewalks, garage floors, slabs, sports courts, stoops, steps, etc. Additional requirements exist for sports courts.
You will be required to draw, on a copy of the plat, the shape, dimensions, and placement of the concrete or pavers that you are adding, and indicate thickness.
Application Requirements
The following is needed in order to apply for a permit:
- Completed EZ Permit Application
- Legible copy of your plat of survey showing location and dimensions of the project.
- Signed copy of Paving and Flatwork Construction Guide
- Signed copy of Driveway Zoning Regulations Guide (for driveways only)
- Signed copy of the Homeowners Declaration Rider if you are part of a Homeowner Association (HOA).
- A copy of the contract between the homeowner and the contractor (if one is being used).
- Homeowner Affidavit if homeowner is doing any of the work themselves.
Fees
- Permit Fee of $70 due upon permit issuance

Inspections Required
- A Base / Pre-pour inspection is required for the base stone and forms.
- A Final Inspection is required upon completion of the project.
