Elected 2007 -- "I believed that Mokena was a great place to live the day we moved in and it has only gotten better over the years. However, there will always be opportunities for improvement. Village government needs to continue to work to create a better retail scene that supports our school districts (one of the main reasons we moved here) and that makes Mokena a town that people want to live in and shop in. What can we do to promote development? What can we do to keep our sales tax dollars here and encourage people from other communities to also spend their tax dollars here? This is something I hope to help achieve."
